Lassa enters Australian market
Lassa Tyres has made its first shipment to Australia. The news follows an agreement between Lassa and Tyre Max Australia, one of Australia’s leading tyre wholesaling companies to distribute Lassa branded tyres throughout New South Wales (Sydney & Melbourne), South Australia (Adelaide), Western Australia (Perth) a and Queensland (Brisbane) regions.
“We are very excited to be able to bring Lassa Tyres to Australian consumers and establishing a partnership with Tyre Max. Initially Lassa Tyres will focus on passenger vehicles, SUV and light truck tyres”, said Halit Şensoy, International sales and marketing director of Brisa. “It has been an important move for us to penetrate the Australian tyre market as part of Brisa’s growth and expansion strategy. In a world that production facilities immeasurably spreading beyond borders and trade barriers, our target as Brisa is to introduce the consumers in all growth markets regardless of region, including the Asia-Pacific that is traditionally known as export markets, with high quality Lassa tyres and provide value package. In this regard, Australia was one of our target markets to enter. With the achievement of this key milestone, as Lassa Tyres we are ensuring our strategic growth in the Asia-Pacific tyre markets”.

Lassa’s products are manufactured in Turkey at the company’s Izmit production facility, which has a 10 million-tyre production capacity and is currently undergoing US$117.5 million of expansion.
