GiTi, Micheldever make Northern Tyre and Battery first GTPC dealer of the quarter

GiTi Tire and Micheldever have named Huddersfield-based Northern Tyre and Battery Service (NTBS) the first winner of the GT Radial Performance Centre (GTPC) Dealer of the Quarter. The Award, which will be presented every three months, is judged on a number of key criteria through the “Passport To Profit” programme, including an analysis of how the GT Radial brand has been promoted proactively in the local area, a commitment to work together to develop the business, innovative routes to market and tyre sales.

Covering the period July to September 2012, NTBS was praised for the makeover of its premises based around the GT Radial brand, the exclusive sponsorship of a local horse show, staff training and development and a good year-on-year increase in units. Every winner receives £300 of high street vouchers, a framed certificate and an engraved shield, which will be passed from winner to winner.

Whitburn-based Tyres Rims N Trims was also “Highly Commended” for its quarterly activity, including the creation of a billboard at the entrance to the town and distribution of a press release regarding the owner’s trip to a GiTi Tire factory in Indonesia.  The garage collected £150 in vouchers and a framed certificate.
