Firestone boosting farming efficiency at EIMA
Firestone is presenting its latest agricultural tyre innovations at the EIMA 2012 agricultural fair in Bologna between 7-11 November. The brand says its 201sqm stand (Hall 36, A11) presents the three pillars of Firestone’s business approach to the agricultural industry: its tyre innovations, Agri Point, the Europewide network of agricultural tyre service professionals, and E-tools to “make the farmer’s life easier”, such as its new tyre pressure smart-phone application.
The stand highlights the new Firestone Maxi Traction IF. Built for high HP tractors, Maxi Traction is now available with Increased Flex technology – either to operate at reduced pressure for the same load and speed, or to carry heavier loads at the same pressure – for increased efficiency and higher crop yields.
Firestone also displays new Performer 65, 70 and 85 radials with improved load and speed ratings, offering farmers measurable gains in work time and load capabilities; the Firestone R4000 offering high stability and durability; Duraforce, specially developed for light industrial duty; and the world’s largest agricultural radial, Firestone DT23 with IF (850/75 R42) with a 2.32 m diameter.
