NitroFill Auto Club highlighted by TAFF nomination

The fact that Tyre Bay Direct’s NitroFill Auto Club was a contender the TAFF Innovation award that was announced during the course of Brityrex week is likely to promote both the nitrogren inflation brand and the “club” concept. Tyre Bay Direct (TBD) may not have won when the awards were announced on Wednesday 10 November, but as the saying goes “all publicity is good publicity.

According to the company, the NitroFill Auto Club scheme is designed to drive customer traffic to participating retailers’ premises for nitrogen inflation services. Prominent regional retail groups Merityre and Selecta Tyre are founder members of the Club. The idea is that the Nitrofill Auto Club can increase traffic to tyre centres up to four times. 

Commenting on the concept, TBD’s sales and marketing director Leigh Stote said: “Evidence from the US, where nitrogen inflation is a more established concept, shows that the NitroFill Club can increase repeat customer depot visits by up to four times.” 

Brityrex ‘highly successful’

Company representatives report that this year’s Brityrex has proven “highly successful” for Tyre Bay Direct. Being heavily internet and mail order based the show is said to have provided “a great opportunity to meet new and existing customers, discuss their requirements and ultimately provide them with valuable solutions.” Tyre Bay Direct was particularly impressed with the high quality of visitors at this year’s show and had the chance to meet some of their existing customers as well as gaining new customers of the highest calibre. 

The Unite range of machinery is said to have attracted the most interest, being extremely competitively priced and boasting 24 months warranty.

Leigh Stote added: “We were especially pleased with the positive feedback the Unite machines received with customers commenting on the quality of the machines as well as the exceptional after sales service provided.” 

The Uniflate nitrogen systems also proved popular with visitors as the story behind Uniflate set Tyre Bay Direct’s system apart from the competition. Uniflate have supplied Formula 1 Grand Prix Racing since 1992 and continue to be exclusive suppliers.
