KYB cheque for BEN
On 8th October the team from KYB, the supplier of shock absorbers, coil springs and suspension mounting kits, presented the automotive industry charity, BEN with a cheque for £2,075.
As reported earlier on tyrepress.com, the team of five was made up from Business Managers Stevie Moore, Romin Nassiri and Jordan Day, and Customer Service Supervisor Vicky Smith who completed the 3 Peaks challenge which consisted of a 24 miles walk, a 10,000 feet climb and 450 miles travelled by road in 28 hours. The 5th team member, Sue Clough (Customer Service Manager) was the support driver between mountains.
The cheque was presented to BEN’s National Development Manager who said, “Completing a challenge such as the UK Three Peaks Challenge is an amazing feat. The funds raised by KYB are greatly appreciated and vital to allowing BEN to continue giving much needed help to people in times of need.”
Vicky Smith, KYB’s Customer Service Supervisor said “KYB are really pleased to have been able to present BEN with over £2,000. We would like to thank all the customers and suppliers who supported us. Doing the 3 Peaks challenge was one of the hardest things our team has done, but it was all worth it in the end and we’re so proud of ourselves for having completed it.”
