Kohaupt takes on emerging market role at Goodyear Dunlop

Rupert Kohaupt, formerly Goodyear Dunlop’s director of commercial vehicle tyres in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, has been appointed the tyre maker’s commercial vehicle tyre sales director for emerging markets. In his new Brussels-based role, the 30-year company veteran will continue the expansion of the growing emerging markets.

“We thank Rupert Kohaupt for the outstanding work he has accomplished for commercial vehicle segment in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and we are pleased that he has taken this further step in his career without our group,” said Dr. Rainer Landwehr, managing director of Goodyear Dunlop Tires Germany.

Taking Kohaupt’s place in the German-speaking region’s commercial vehicle markets is Dieter Schölling. The former replacement market sales director for the ‘Consumer North’ region will now take responsible for truck, agricultural and OTR tyres plus retreaded truck tyres in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
