HiQ goes pink for Breast Cancer Care
The HiQ fast fit network is switching its colours to pink this October as centres all over the country aim to raise £100,000 for Breast Cancer Care. HiQ has been a sponsor of Breast Cancer Care for three years, and in that time has raised over £87,000 for the charity. Its push to hit the £100,000 target sees franchisees across its 140 centres taking part in various ‘Project Pink’ activities this month.
The fast fit network is pledging £5 to the charity for every tyre sold and every MOT booked on hiqonline.co.uk during Pink October. Along with this, its Birmingham head office will play host to raffles, ‘wear it pink’ days and will be selling pink ribbons to visitors to edge closer to the target, giving them to opportunity donate online and via text.
HiQ’s biggest franchise in the Midlands will be taking the National Three Peaks Challenge, which will see three members of the team scale the heights of Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. HiQ centres in the North East are selling hundreds of pink cupcakes to its customers to raise funds, and other centres around the UK will be taking part in a variety of pink-themed fundraisers, including bag-packing in the local community, sponsored runs and more.
HiQ marketing manager Geraldine McGovern said: “We’re all working hard to hit our £100,000 target for Breast Cancer Care. From grand adventures like the Three Peaks Challenge to helping customers in the local community pack their bags – everyone is pulling together to make sure we hit our goal and every penny counts!”
