Hankook Masters rolled out in the UK
Hankook is introducing its Hankook Masters Programme in the UK with the recent launch of Mr Tyre in Leicester. According to the company, the Hankook Masters Programme has been designed to create a consistent retail expression across all shop formats to provide a unified brand experience to consumers. Hankook Tyre UK has been working in partnership with independent retail customers to identify depots situated in prime locations across the UK who stock and actively promote the Hankook brand. The Hankook Masters Programme is set to continue to expand into the New Year with plans to complete in excess of 100 new shops during the next three years across the UK.
Mr Tyre is situated on the Aylestone Road in Leicester, one of the main routes into the city centre. A Hankook partner for over 14 years, their brand loyalty is said to have been evident during this time. The Leicester Mr Tyre store, now boasts an installation with customised reception desks, a touchscreen Hankook interactive information unit, tyre displays, a seating area with television and exterior signage.
Pete Bamford, retail director at Mr Tyre said: “Our busy Leicester store has undergone a transformation from having comfortable but basic customer facilities to having a state-of-the-art reception and waiting area, all thanks to the Hankook Masters programme. The quality of the fittings is absolutely superb and the layout is very modern, light and smart. The touch screen computers, TV and product display areas also occupy our customers while they are waiting.”
John-Paul Turski, manager at Mr Tyre Leicester also added: “I am very impressed with the new superb reception area and the Hankook Masters signage outside which is very eye catching and looks impressive as you drive up to the store. All my customers are very complimentary of the new designs, and their waiting times are much more enjoyable now. It’s a great relaxed atmosphere in the waiting area. We have always been a busy store but it will take off now!”

Hankook explains that its Masters brand logo represents “speed, high technology, prestige and innovation.” Tony Lee, managing director of Hankook Tyre UK said:
