'Cosworth up for sale' – Times
Writing in the UK newspaper The Times, Robert Lea says "One of the great names of the British motor industry, renowned for building high performance engines for racing teams and sports cars, has been put up for sale.
“After months of waiting to test the stock market with a flotation of the company, the owners of Cosworth have instructed UBS to find a buyer for the business.
“Cosworth has been put up for sale by its owners Gerry Forsythe and Kevin Kalkhoven, the former IndyCar racing magnates-turned-venture capitalists, who bought the business from Ford eight years ago.”
Lea mentions Rolls Royce and GKN as among those who might be interested in the purchase of Cosworth.
