Concirrus and CMS SupaTrak announce integrated TPMS and telematics solutions
Telemetry and M2M solutions provider Concirrus and UK-based vehicle tracking and fleet management solution supplier CMS SupaTrak have announced that that PressurePro’s tyre pressure information will be integrated into their new EcoTyre solution.
The EcoTyre solution from CMS SupaTrak comprises of PressurePro’s sensors, which are fitted to the vehicle’s tyres and measures their pressure and temperature in real time. This data is then transmitted and recorded by the CMS SupaTrak’s EcoTrak telematics solution, which is integrated with PressurePro technology. Drivers are then able to view the live data using an in-vehicle display unit and fleet managers are able to access the data through the EcoTrak web-based reporting suite.
Adding to the safety benefits of the EcoTyre system, alerts can be sent to both the driver and relevant managers if there is an incidence of over or under inflation. These alerts will be shown on the display unit and can also be sent by text message or email.
“The waste industry has an inherent link to the environment and we see the provision of integrated tyre pressure information as fundamental to the efficient, green and safe operation of a fleet,” said Concirrus CEO Andrew Yeoman. “And we are excited to partner with CMS SupaTrak, who have an impressive customer list and reputation in the market.”
Jason Airey, managing director of CMS SupaTrak, added: “We chose PressurePro from Concirrus as their product is the most robust on the market and combined with the experience of the Concirrus team in the Telematics market we believe that CMS SupaTrak is once again, able to lead the market rather than follow it.”
