CH-Noble, Joyroad set for European sales
Although Dongying Zhongyi Rubber Co. Ltd has been around since 2004, the Shandong Province, China-based company is a relative newcomer to the tyre business. It wasn’t until 2010 that the first tyre was produced at Dongying Zhongyi’s plant near Qingdao, but since then annual output of the company’s two brands – CH-Noble and Joyroad – has reached 3.5 million units a year.
“We plan to double this next year,” Dongying Zhongyi’s Kelly Yang told Tyres & Accessories. An increase to 7 million tyres would represent an important further step towards reaching the company’s goal of raising its capacity of PCR, LTR, UHP and SUV tyres to 15 million pieces per annum.
Ms Yang shares that the Americas and Russia are currently Dongying Zhongyi’s main markets, and the tyre maker also exports its products to Australia, Asia, Africa and the Ukraine. When Tyres & Accessories spoke with Kelly Yang in September, Europe was absent from the list of export destination, however she assured us this would soon change. “We’re almost ready with the label and will be supplying Europe from mid-October,” said Yang. “We have three patterns and more than 100 sizes. We also plan to add new sizes and patterns.”
