Voting closing as NTDA annouces TAFF Innovation Award Shortlist
This year's Tyre & Fast Fit Awards are proving as popular as ever, with votes reaching the NTDA thick and fast, both by post and online. Voting ends on 14 September, so if you haven't yet voted for the main categories click on the link below, or copy this link into your address bar: http://www.ntda.co.uk/taff_voting_form.html.
The one category that is not decided by your votes is the “Innovation” Award; for this, companies can nominate a product or process of their own which they believe is truly innovative. A panel of experts from across the industry draws up a shortlist and decides on the overall winner.
The NTDA says that, as usual, the standard of entries this year was exceptionally high and the judges will have their work cut out to choose one that stands out from the seven that have made it on to the final shortlist. The seven Innovation finalists are (in alphabetical order):
Apaseal – Clampless wheel alignment
Autogem – TPMS programme
Michelin – Energy Saver + tyre
Performance Wheels – Ecommerce TPMS system
Pro-Align – Hunter Elite TD with ‘Quickgrip’ adaptors
Rema Tip Top – Aramid repair pack
Tyre Bay Direct – Nitrofill Auto Club
Well done to all seven for making it this far and the identity of the successful entrant – as well as all the other TAFF Award winners – will be revealed during our sell-out Annual Dinner on 10 October.
