Bridgestone to present ‘Total Tyre Care’ portfolio at IAA
The upcoming IAA Commercial Vehicles 2012 fair in Hannover, Germany will serve as an opportunity for Bridgestone to present its new Total Tyre Care programme. Describing Total Tyre Care, Bridgestone says it offers fleets “carefree tyre management through a flexible range of complementary truck tyre programmes.”
“Fleet operators are battling costs every kilometre they drive,” elaborates Yves Kerstens, managing director of Bridgestone Europe’s Commercial Business Unit. “Our aim at IAA is to show them why Bridgestone’s Total Tyre Care is the best solution for maximising fleet performance and controlling tyre-related costs.”
The tyre maker’s 301m², two-storey stand (Hall 16, Stand C01) presents the three pillars which support the Total Tyre Care programme: Total Tyre Life, Total Tyre Services and Total Tyre Systems.
The first of these is centred upon Bridgestone’s new tyres and Bandag retreads, while the second component related to keeping a fleet’s trucks running at maximum efficiency with maintenance, monitoring and assistance services from the Truck Point dealer network. Total Tyre Systems involves giving fleets clear visibility of their tyre conditions at all times via Bridgestone’s monitoring and tracking tools.
In terms of products, stars of the show on the Bridgestone stand are the new regional tyres, the R-Steer 001 and R-Drive 001, which are being exhibited for the first time, Bridgestone’s new-generation Ecopia H-STEER 001 and Ecopia H-DRIVE 001 tyres. Other highlights include a demonstration of Bridgestone’s TPMS.
