B&J Rocket’s Airbot series enters production
B&J Rocket has begun manufacturing the successor to its worldwide established B&J RFBOT buffing tool. The Swiss company first presented prototypes of the new Airbot series at this year’s Reifen show in Germany, and it says customer feedback was enthusiastic; greater efficiency, considerably shorter buffing times and greater longevity due to better cooling were arguments that convinced visitors at the B&J Rocket booth and led to the first pre-orders.
Now that production has started as planned, delivery will soon commence. However, the company shares that development at B&J has continued since the Reifen show, and further improvements have been included in the production models. The already ‘aggressive’ design and its functions have been further refined and the carbide tool’s mounting upgraded from a conventional threaded circular hole to a ‘more powerful’ hexagon socket.
“This provides a much better grip without any slip,” explains B&J Rocket managing director Andreas Müller. The company views continuous development and optimisation as being a part of its globally-introduced ‘Quality Plus’ campaign. Müller is convinced of the new product’s potential: “The new Airbot series will be a hit,” he commented.
