Treadsetters adds Latin America to its promotional programme
Following on from the company’s presence as an exhibitor in Africa, UK based tyre wholesaler – Treadsetters (part of the TIA Group) recently took their global promotion of its products and services to the South American continent.
Having supported Tyrexpo Africa 2012 in Johannesburg earlier in the year, Treadsetters went on to exhibit at the Autoexpo East Africa 2102 show in Tanzania a couple of months ago. Now the company has recently returned from taking part in the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo in Panama City. They were the only British company represented at the event and the sole tyre company at the Autoexpo East Africa show.
As with previous international shows, the major objective was to showcase Treadsetters own private brand – Torque within the truck, light truck and bus tyre sectors as well as their PCR and UHP ranges. Also on display at the Panama show was a representation of the company’s 4×4 and OTR ranges.
A Treadsetters company spokesman said: “Being part of the Latin American event proved to be a totally new experience that was very successful as a continuous stream of interested visitors came on the stand to learn more about our products.”
The recent appearances form part of Treadsetters plans for brand building and the consolidation of sales within the premium, mid-range and budget tyre market sectors. This is backed by an experience of sourcing and marketing tyres around the world.
“Exhibiting at the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo, Autoexpo and Tyrexpo Africa shows this year represents an important step forward for Treadsetters and further underlines our continued expansion into the African and Central and South American tyre markets. We are constantly evaluating new opportunities for future growth including creating new markets and providing solutions to tyre problems around the world,” Treadsetters concluded.
