Hofmann Power Weight given Ford Q1 status

On 16 July, Ford presented Hofmann Power Weight with its Q1 Award in recognition of the quality of the balance weights supplied to Ford and the reliability of Hofmann’s delivery. The Q1 Award is the highest designation Ford gives its suppliers, and is awarded solely to suppliers who satisfy the car manufacturer’s strict requirements in terms of quality, on-time delivery and material management, whilst at the same time achieving a high technical standard.

This is the second time Hofmann Power Weight has received this accolade from Ford; its former manufacturing base in Albstadt, Germany previously attained Ford Q1 award-winning status. After relocating production to the Bavarian town of Veitshöchheim, the company arranged for all Ford audits to be run through in the shortest time possible in order to once again become the proud recipient of Q1 status.

Cars manufactured by Ford in numerous production facilities around the world are equipped with clip-on and adhesive weights from the extensive Hofmann Power Weight range.
