Growing mobile tyre fitter adopts Cam’s fit and go systems
Mobile tyre fitting service TyresontheDrive.com, a business established last year by former Michelin manager Dominic Clark, is said to be growing at a rate of 20 per cent per month. To support its expansion plans, the company is now integrating the tyre industry dedicated Cameo, Workshop Scheduler and MIDaS technologies from Cam Systems into its existing bespoke systems; according to Cam Systems these new additions will provide a more structured and stable back office that will deliver immediate efficiencies and time-saving benefits.
The tyre fitting service will use the platforms to enhance its operations in areas including online ordering, stock control, ledgers and real-time invoicing, and for the effective scheduling its fleet of vans. “I’ve worked with Cam Systems previously in my role at Michelin so I am very familiar with its tried and tested systems and its considerable industry specific knowledge and expertise,” commented TyresontheDrive.com CEO Dominic Clark. “This is critical to us as we continue to expand aggressively. We don’t need to spend time beta testing. The platforms are simply integrated and are ready to go. I have huge confidence in Cam and its technology.”
“Our systems are designed for the industry by tyre people,” added Mike Allen, managing director of Cam Systems. “They can stand alone or be bolted onto customers’ existing platforms enabling them to become even more efficient and to provide greater transparency across their operations. We’re delighted to be partnering with TyresontheDrive.com at such an exciting time of its evolution.”
