Federal wins 2012 Taiwan Excellence Award

Federal Tires says it is honoured to have been given a 2012 Taiwan Excellence Award at a presentation held by the country’s Ministry of Economic Affairs last month. The tyre maker says the accolade recognises its “success in building a strong reputation as a reliable tyre supplier of high quality products.”

Both Federal’s FZ-201 semi-slick competition tyre and Couragia F/X claimed the distinction out of the 1,145 products eligible for the award. Selected products must meet the criteria in four categories – innovative value, unique design, good quality, and international brand capabilities; among these standards, innovation in particular is taken into consideration from an expert judging panel’s point of view.

“We are very proud of winning the award, and we are more than pleased to be part of the winners with the other world famous brand in Taiwan,” said Geoffrey Chang, manager of Federal’s marketing department, who attended the event on behalf of the company. “It is a significant contribution to our brand enhancement…The fantastic reward is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our colleagues in delivering the very best of products and technology for our customers within and beyond Taiwan.”
