Cadillac selects Bridgestone Potenza for new flagship model
Bridgestone has secured a premium original equipment deal in North America with its selection as standard fitment on the top-line ‘Platinum’ version of the new 2013 Cadillac XTS. The Platinum’s 20-inch rims will be equipped with the Potenza RE97AS in size P245/40R20 95V, and the tyre is also available as an optional upgrade on the ‘Premium Collection’ version of the new Cadillac flagship.
“We are thrilled to partner with General Motors to supply the upscale fitment for the Cadillac XTS, a new luxury sedan,” said Michael Martini, president, Original Equipment, US and Canada Consumer Tire Sales Division, BATO. “The Cadillac brand is synonymous with luxury and performance, and we know that the Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS will be an important contributor to the luxury driving experience delivered by a truly exceptional vehicle.”
Manufactured at Bridgestone’s Wilson plant in North Carolina, the all-season Potenza RE97AS will be launched into the North American replacement market next year.
