ARR Craib extends Bridgestone fleet contract
Bridgestone UK’s contract with Aberdeen-based operator ARR Craib has been renewed for a further year. The newly agreed deal builds on the relationship that began in 2009 and will see Bridgestone supplying a combination of new and retreaded tyres over the next 12 months to ARR Craib’s fleet of 200 trucks and 500 trailers. The company will also continue to utilise the Bridgestone Mega-Fleet system.
Over the life of the account we have endeavoured to provide a solution closely fitted to ARR Craib’s operating requirements,” said Barry Crockett, manager, Fleet Business at Bridgestone. “Through our tailored Total Tyre Life offering, the company has been able to enjoy the benefits of the high quality nature of Bridgestone products and the easy to use, detailed, online monitoring system.”
“With the current wider economic conditions placing strain on operating budgets the cost effective solution offered by Bridgestone was a very attractive proposition,” commented ARR Craib finance director John Bain. “The comprehensive nature of the package, the high quality of the products and excellent online accounting made Bridgestone the perfect choice for us.”
