Apollo enters Nigerian market
Apollo Tyres has rolled out its product range in the Nigerian market and the tyre maker has appointed the Stallion Group, a conglomerate that already boasts partnerships with several global vehicle manufacturers, as its representative within the country.
At the Apollo brand’s recent official launch in Lagos, Dr. Louis Ceneviz, CEO of Apollo Tyres South Africa, described the company’s entry into Nigeria as “the beginning of an exciting journey.” He added: “We believe offering the right product to the right customer is essential. That is why we developed niche applications within a larger category to enable the provision of efficient fuel and cost saving products for each product segment.”
Pinaki Sarkar, head of marketing for the Stallion Group’s tyre division, said Stallion is proud to be associated with a “leading brand such as Apollo Tyres,” adding that the product would soon become the toast of motorists, haulage concerns and industrial plants.
