Tyre labelling fronts new Cam website
Cam Systems newly developed website is designed specifically with tyre labelling in mind. The company wants to ensure customers are informed how to be totally operational and compliant in this area by November this year; the label will need to be present at point of sale on 1 November 2012 and Cam’s customers have been looking to the software provider to provide increased functionality to cover this requirement. In support of this, Cam says its own website (www.cam-systems.co.uk) has been designed to offer in-depth guidance and advice on the impending legislation.
Supporting Cam’s complete tyre labelling solution in conjunction with its Online Tyre Catalogue, the site provides comprehensive information about the new changes and how they will affect the industry, enabling tyre dealers and wholesalers to understand the implications for their businesses. Visitors to the website are greeted by a pop-up window that offers to explain more about the company’s label-ready packages, its supporting software and pre-requisites and the legislation itself.
Mike Allen, managing director of Cam Systems, says, “Many of our customers are already opting for a more dynamic tyre labelling solution to educate and upsell to their consumer at point of sale through our customer-facing display option. The upgraded website will ensure that all customers are kept up-to-date with the legislation changes and are fully informed every step of the way.”
