SEMA/GTE promotion efforts yield huge attendance
More than 60,000 active buyers are expected to attend the event the 2012 SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo, according to Tire Review. The figure far surpasses attendance expectations and secures the event's status as the single largest and most comprehensive conference and trade show serving the tyre, service and restyling industries.
The 2012 show is set for 30 October-2 November at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Organizers said that a comprehensive marketing campaign that started in April continuously outlined the real-world benefits of exhibiting and attending SEMA/GTE. It included a massive mailing to some 100,000 qualified buyer attendee prospects, online advertising on some 30 industry websites, a Google AdWords and re-targeting campaign that gained more than 1 million impressions, print ads in some 120 publications that reach a combined 500,000 prospective attendees and exhibitors, and bi-weekly e-mails to more than 150,000 qualified prospects.
