New products from SD International at CITExpo 2012
SD International reports that it is showcasing its full product portfolio and introducing several new tyres (including the firm’s latest winter ranges in both the Pace and Zeta brands) at CITExpo 2012. The company will also be launching its all-new Briland range for which it holds global distribution rights.
According to the company, Pace tyres meet all international standards including DOT, ECE, E4-S, Inmetro, GCC and REACH across the PCR, UHP, 4×4, light commercial and truck market sectors. The new Pace Antartica winter series is said to provide a number of benefits including a high silica compound, ‘V’ shaped tread pattern, high density wave siping and 3-D sipes along with a stiff shoulder block design.
The Antartica 5 PCR pattern comes in various sizes from 175/65 R14 to 255/40 R18 in T, H and V ratings whilst the Antartica 6 SUV pattern is available in sizes from 215/70 R16 to 255/55 R18. Finally the Antartica 8 van pattern provides sizes from 195/70 R15C to 235/65 R15C.
The Zeta brand is also produced in China. The new winter range is designed to complement the existing Zeta ranges in UHP, SUV, 4×4, van and truck market sectors. The Briland range with five pattern options represents another additional brand from SD International and is being marketed as a superior safety conscious, energy saving UHP budget tyre that specialises in energy conservation and important environmental protection technology.
SD International has also recently introduced a further 50 new sizes in its increasingly popular Maxtrek range which takes the current size portfolio to over 390 in summer and winter patterns. Maxtrek is a comparatively young brand, once again produced in China and reportedly accomplishing all relevant standards.
Peter Nicholls, SD International’s sales and marketing director concluded: “As a Shanghai based company, CITExpo 2012 represents a great opportunity for the company to further promote their ongoing growth momentum as a leading Chinese tire supplier and also introduce our latest products. SD International is currently undergoing a development programme in both tire brands and services and this event offer a perfect springboard to further increase our corporate image to the industry.”
