Euro Car Parts continues rapid growth
Euro Car Parts opened 11 new branches, in the second quarter of 2012, continue on its rapid growth trajectory. Delivering on its promise to make Euro Car Parts (ECP) the biggest aftermarket supplier in Scotland, ECP opened two new branches in June alone – Edinburgh East and Perth. The doors also opened at new stores in Borehamwood and Telford during June, with these four branches combined, creating over 200 new jobs. The company opened 17 new branches between Jan – June 2012.
Founder and managing director Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia commented: “Q2 2012 has to go down as one of the most impressive periods in the history of Euro Car Parts. We have more branches, more employees, more products and more customers. The rate of progress is so fast that hitting the 100-branch milestone in March seems like old news – we are up to 111 already.
“We are well ahead of schedule on our target to open30 new branches this year, with Aberdeen, Huddersfield, Kings Lynn, Lincoln, Oldham, Salisbury, Wirral, Worcester andYeovil all coming soon. Staffing is therefore a top priority and, with 600 new vacancies to fill by end of Q3, our recruitment drive is now at full throttle.”
