Pirelli upgrades website to include labelling section
Pirelli has announced a variety of upgrades to its consumer website, including a new section about tyre labelling. The website, the main information source for Pirelli’s various products on the UK and international markets, boasts a greater degree of interactivity, helping visitors to make more informed tyre choices. Pirelli UK managing director Dominic Sandivasci commented: “We recognise that the new labelling legislation may be confusing to some of our consumers, so we felt it was important to create an interactive platform on our website to help our customers understand more about the changes, and how they can ultimately benefit from the new labelling regulations.”
The new function on the Pirelli website allows guides users through the new labelling process. Visitors to the site can select their car, fuel type and yearly mileage in order to understand more about a tyre that would be best suited to their needs. In creating this function, Pirelli hopes to help the consumer understand more about the mechanics behind fuel efficiency, braking performance and noise emission as well as informing them about the new legislation.
Sandivasci concluded: “As a company, Pirelli is always looking at new ways to engage with customers, and I believe that the new interactive section on the website is the perfect example. Pirelli values its position as the world’s leading premium tyre manufacturer, and we strive to continue these high standards across every area of the company, including our website.”
