Infinity, Bond present prize at York’s Dante Festival
Infinity Tyres and exclusive UK supplier Bond International have presented racehorse Gatewood, its jockey William Buick, owner George Strawbridge and trainer John Gosden with a £20,000 prize and a custom-made Arabic coffee pot trophy flown in from Dubai in York’s Winner’s Enclosure. The horse won the 2012 Infinity Tyres Stakes, the first race of the 2012 horse racing season at York racecourse, and the brand’s European general manager, Jorge Crespo and Bond managing director, Reg Bond were in attendance to present the prizes.
Crespo stated: “Infinity is again delighted to get involved with UK sport. We supported the Dante Festival in 2011 and after such positive feedback, we decided this year to re-state our commitment by sponsoring the very first race of the season at the York Racecourse. Our many partners and dealers all enjoyed themselves with wonderful VIP access and catering and we know many of those who could not attend in person were able to watch the proceedings live on Channel 4”.
Alongside its UK distributor, Bond International, Infinity Tyres treated invited guests to full hospitality in the exclusive Melrose Stand where they were joined by many personalities from the world of sport and entertainment.
