Groupe Massa becomes Infinity Tyres’ French distributor

Infinity Tyres has signed a distribution deal with Groupe Massa in France. The group operates through several subsidiary companies focusing on retail, logistics, retreading and wholesale, and the brand will be distributed through the Massa Pneus retail network and the business-to-business Imagine Car operation, which it says is the largest wholesaler on the French market.

The Massa Pneus retail network in the Mediterranean and Rhône Alps region. Its distribution channels represent a total volume of 800.000 tyres and it has over one million end-user customers registered. Groupe Massa’s Imagine Car operation expects sales of over two million tyres in 2012. The wholesaler’s main targets are tyre dealers, car dealers, local wholesalers and garages with over 3.000 registered customers.

Jorge Crespo, European general manager for Infinity Tyres, stated that Infinity “greatly believes in the growth potential of the French market and this deal will ensure that both Massa and Infinity will find this new partnership to be mutually beneficial in all respects.”

Groupe Massa employs over 1.000 people, has 115 outlets, a retreading plant, two logistics platforms (one of which measures 34.000 m²) and continues to expand by regularly opening new operation centres.
