Goodway displaying at Reifen 2012 under new GIIB acronym
Goodway Integrated Industries Berhad – or GIIB, as the company’s new corporate branding would have it – will exhibit its retreading solutions at Reifen 2012 (Hall 4, Stand 110). Amongst the product line-up of Supercool Beluga tread liners, GIIB Rübtek rubber compounds and Speedflex cushion gum, the company will be talking to visitors about its new GIIB Supercool Retread Franchise business solution model and its software-enhanced GIIB Management Solutions for Tyres. The company says the GIIB name unifies the brands and presents customers with a more dynamic message.
GIIB says it has started to provide more enhancements in its existing servicing operations, including the GIIB Supercool Retread Franchise business solution model, which supports investors starting up tyre retreading businesses. The GIIB Management Solutions for Tyres uses technology such as Fleet Soft and Radio Frequency Identification Devices (RFID) to refine fleets’ daily operations and lower the need to hire additional manpower for routine vehicles and tyre maintenance, GIIB says.
The company’s tread liner series, the Supercool Beluga, allows fleet operators to reduce the chances of blowout and improves a vehicles’ road performance with its heat dispersion technology. GIIB says the Supercool line has demonstrated superior functionality, including excellent traction, puncture-resistance, cut-resistance and anti-avulsion with extreme durability in the OTR segment. The company also says it has extended its role beyond providing materials to retreaders; it also provides marketing support, technical consultation and sales personnel to organize on field sales training.
The GIIB Research & Development created the GIIB Rübtek brand under which it produces technical rubber compound. GIIB Rübtek says it has grown aggressively and is serving a number of corporations, including hydraulic hose, automotive parts and construction equipment producers.
Speedflex is the latest product creation by GIIB; the 800mm wide cushion gum is created to increase convenience for retreaders. This product helps to save both curing time and energy consumption by 20 minutes and 21 per cent respectively, according to GIIB. The brand’s OptimumFLEX-800 cushion gum cutting machine provides flexibility in width customisation.
