BEN boot sale a success
BEN, the automotive industry charity, in conjunction with the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust, held the first of its two annual car boot sales on Sunday 13 May 2012 at Heritage Motor Centre, Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwickshire.
The ‘Boot 4 BEN’ gates opened at 8.30am and were joined by four other car clubs who were out in force to show off their immaculate & sometimes inventive restorations. All proceeds raised from this event were equally split between BEN and BMIHT
The next ‘Boot 4 BEN’ will take place on Sunday 23 September 2012.
The events are organised by a number of dedicated BEN volunteers. Gary Stokes, a BEN Champion volunteer at Jaguar Land Rover commented, “We are extremely grateful to all our car booters, volunteers and everyone for their support in making this a great event. The weather was perfect and the feedback was that everyone had a wonderful time. We hope that even more people will come out to support our next event in September.”
