Treadsetters to launch new Torque car tyre house brand at Reifen
Telford based Treadsetters, part of the TIA Group of companies, will use its presence at Reifen 2012 (Hall 2, Stand 422) primarily to promote its new Torque house brand range of passenger car tyres. The company said in a release that the Torque display would be used as an effective European launch. The range incorporates PCR, UHP and van patterns. The Torque brand has previously been used for truck tyres – launched in mid-2011 – and steel wheels.
Treadsetters’ Torque brand will initially offer 16 sizes in 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 and 80 series alongside a winter version in time for the 2012 season, in a choice of 15 sizes in 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 series. The ultra high performance range consists of seven size options in 40, 45, 50, 55 and 65 series. Finally the van range will present two pattern options across 16 sizes and ratings with an additional eight winter sizes and ratings.
Treadsetters says the launch will further enhance its industry image as a leading international wholesaler and distributor. The company will also be presenting a comprehensive selection of its Torque truck tyres and steel wheels. A Treadsetters spokesman adds: “Reifen 2012 is the perfect stage for the European launch of our new Torque car range which is an important development in the growth of the brand on an international basis.”
