Tyre sealant specialist Air-Seal joins TyreSafe

TyreSafe has sealed the deal on another new member. Tyre sealant supplier Air-Seal Products joined the tyre retailers and distributors, car manufacturers, insurers and public bodies promoting tyre safety already in the not-for-profit organisation. “Air-Seal Products will be a valuable addition to TyreSafe, says chairman Stuart Jackson. “Indeed, it seems particularly appropriate that Air-Seal should join TyreSafe as its products are designed to prevent punctures and have a heavy emphasis on making driving safer.

“Its decision to become a member is also a confirmation that TyreSafe is making a real difference for all road users and helping prevent totally unnecessary and avoidable accidents,” TyreSafe is now in its sixth year and since its inception its activities have helped reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured each year in a tyre related accident by 38 per cent.

Apart from its annual Tyre Safety Month campaign held every October, the organisation also runs a number of targeted tyre safety initiatives aimed at particular audiences, such as motorcyclists, young drivers and fleet operators.

Air-Seal Products was established in 2000, offering a range of tyre sealants to help prevent punctures and slow air leaks. The products can be used by on or off-road vehicles, from wheelbarrows to dumper trucks.

“TyreSafe is at the forefront in making the UK’s roads a safer place, so we are thrilled to be its newest member,” Len Collard – tyre consultant explains. “In fact, it is a natural progression for Air-Seal as our products are designed to make tyres safer, plus the fact that we have always taken our corporate social responsibility very seriously.”
