Kwik-Fit Fleet at CV show

Kwik-Fit Fleet will use this week's CV show to launch its improved service offering to light commercial vehicle fleets. As well as tyres, the company will showcase its other services, such as vehicle servicing and MOTs and its 'fit tyres at your premises' offering via its mobile tyre fitting and repair fleet.

Kwik-Fit Fleet sales director Peter Lambert is reported as saying: “The van market is continuing to expand. Kwik-Fit Fleet is the largest provider of fast-fit and related services to the UK company car market and we anticipate that the investment we are making in centres, staff and equipment to cater for the light commercial vehicle market will further increase our share of that business sector.”

It is estimated that there are 1.6 million light commercial vehicles on UK roads and this number is expected to increase as the popularity of internet shopping grows, leading in turn to more delivery journeys.

To take advantage of this, Kwik-Fit Fleet’s new strategy involves expanding its range of tyres to provide greater coverage of the van parc with premium, mid-range and budget tyres; investment in new equipment to handle vans and lcvs and specialist training for staff.
