US aftermarket tyre sales down in February
A report from analysts Morgan Stanley reveals that preliminary figures released by the US Rubber Manufacturer Association (RMA) show a decline in aftermarket tyre sales in February of passenger car, light truck and commercial truck tyres.
Passenger car tyre sales for the month, compared to February 2011, fell by -1.2 per cent, while light truck tyre sales were down by -10 per cent and commercial truck tyre sales were down by -15.8 per cent.
The RMA reporting group consists of a number of tyre manufacturers, which together account for around 85 per cent of all US tyre shipments
