RAC golf competition to raise funds for BEN
The Royal Automobile Club will host its first Charity Cup Golf Competition to raise money for BEN at Woodcote Park on Tuesday 24 April. The Club will donate all funds raised from the event to BEN, the UK's only charity for those who work in the automotive and related industries, as well as their dependents; and the Henry Surtees Foundation.
The Charity Cup looks forward to welcoming some high profile names from the motor sport world including sports presenter Steve Rider and the event is being supported by Sky Sports who are launching a channel this month dedicated to Formula 1.
David Wilkinson, Chief Executive and Secretary of the Royal Automobile Club said: “We are thrilled to announce our forthcoming Charity Cup, taking place in the grounds of our ‘house in the country’, Woodcote Park. We are proud the event supports two extremely worthwhile motor sport related charities and are thankful to Sky Sports for offering their support on the event. We envisage our entry list will fill up very quickly and encourage interested competitors to sign up as soon as possible.”
