Performance Wheels releases Fondmetal 7900

The sole UK distributor of Fondmetal wheels has announced details of the latest design from the Italian manufacturer: the 7900. Performance Wheels says the five-spoke rim contains construction and material technology developed by Fondmetal in its extensive original equipment manufacturer and motorsport portfolio, which extends to Formula One.

The strength and rigidity values of the wheel vastly exceed aftermarket and OEM parameters, emphasising Fondmetal’s heritage and experience. The five-spoke “propeller” design enhances the depth of each spoke’s plane and also the dish of the wheel itself.

Two finishes are available; Matt Black with machine polished highlights, or the new Matek Silver, which replicates the current crop of satin metallic finishes available on cars like the BMW M3. A wide range of five stud applications are available in rim sizes from 6.5×15” to 10×22”, in fitments suitable for cars, light trucks, SUVs and MPVs.

The 15” Fondmetal 7900 starts at £137, benefiting from the company’s recent price reduction policy. The company’s wheels can also be ordered with the award-winning Tyresure Tyre Pressure Monitoring System for instant live in-car monitoring of tyre pressure and temperature, with visual and audible warnings when either exceeds set parameters.
