Korean, Japanese evaluations confirm Enfren Eco rolling resistance credentials
Hankook reports its Enfren Eco H433 has been given the top grade for energy efficiency in the ratings set out by the Korea Energy Management Corporation. The tyre maker says the H433 is the first tyre from a Korean manufacturer to receive this grade. In December 2011 the tyre also received the highest AAA rating for rolling resistance in the labelling system set up by the Tire Fair Trade Commission in Japan.
“Receiving the top mark in the energy efficiency grade for our tyres, given by independent associations, is a testimony of our long-standing efforts to develop safe, fuel-efficient tyres based on Hankook’s Kontrol-technology,” declared Hee-Se Ahn, Hankook Tire Europe vice-president Marketing and Sales. “The recognition of our products in two highly automotive countries reflects the core of Hankook Tire’s corporate philosophy which aims to contribute to preserving the environment through our eco-friendly products.”
