IT firms showing latest tyre software at Brityrex 2012
Leading tyre sector software firms will be on hand at Brityrex International 2012 in Manchester, offering show visitors the latest technology to improve the efficiency of their businesses. Cam Systems, MAM Software and TEAM Systems for example will each demonstrate their own solutions to the imminent tyre labelling legislation, due to come into force in November.
Long-term Brityrex exhibitor TEAM Systems, an ever present at the show since 1992, will mark the occasion by celebrating 20 years as an IT supplier to the tyre and fast fit sector. The latest version of its popular TEAM software containing a number of exciting new features will be on display, as will the company’s tyre labelling facility, which will be offered free of charge to existing customers.
Managing director Steve Greatrex says: “We’ve supported Brityrex since day one and are very proud to celebrate 20 years in the business at this year’s show. Our staff have combined experience of over 60 years in the industry, which is a great tribute to their commitment. We’ll be using Brityrex to demonstrate some exciting new features in the latest release of our TEAM software and offering a free solution to meet the new tyre labelling legislation.”
Paul Farrant, managing director of Brityrex organiser ECI International, commented: “IT is now at the operational heart of many tyre businesses so the presence of these leading industry suppliers will give show visitors the opportunity to see the latest software applications and functionality in action. The new tyre labelling legislation is obviously going to be a subject on every retailer’s mind and will provide a very topical subject for discussion. Each of the three exhibitors will be demonstrating their own solution to the new legal requirements.”
Cam Systems will unveil its new Retail Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, providing Cameo customers with options for more effective customer contact, sales conversion and business intelligence for retail operations at the counter, on the phone and over the web.
Early adopters of the Retail CRM module have worked with Cam to design key benefits into the new system, such as optimising the capture and maintenance of customer and activity data, converting immediate and future business opportunity, understanding and utilising the most effective communication channels with individual prospects and customers, and, ultimately, being able to measure and direct advertising and marketing expenditure more cost-effectively.
With Brityrex being held three weeks before the advent of the 1 November EU legislation around tyre labelling, Cam will be showcasing its tyre labelling solution on its Cameo platform. This has been designed to offer customers options to present a professional, high quality image to motorists, providing retailers with the opportunity to upsell to higher margin brands.
Another major player, MAM Software will be demonstrating a variety of new and updated software at Brityrex. A range of solutions will be on display, covering independent workshop applications through to enterprise solutions for fast-fit chains and tyre distributors. These will include the company’s Autopart Tyres Suite, Autowork Online, Autowork Enterprise and Autopart Online Tyres.
“With a number of significant product launches recently announced, we look forward to an exciting Brityrex show” said Nigel Clemett, irector of Sales at MAM Software. “Our Autopart Tyres Suite is a powerful amalgamation of numerous MAM applications, customised and brought together to deliver a rich business management platform.
“Our Online cloud solutions represent our commitment to employing the most up-to-date technology and finding new ways to enhance the user experience. Delivering the same comprehensive feature-set as locally installed alternatives, the remotely hosted nature of our Online software eliminates most of the up-front expense, a major barrier for many smaller businesses,” says Nigel.
