Cambrian Tyres working with Cam on wholesale systems
Cambrian Tyres is investing “substantially” in the development of a wholesale customer relations management (CRM) and virtualised server package with Cam Systems. According to a statement from Cam, Cambrian Tyres is continuing its partnership with the software solutions provider, providing it with more effective customer connectivity and future proofing its business for the next 10 years.
A long-standing Cameo customer of some 14 years, Cambrian Tyres turned to Cam Systems to help it manage its customer base more efficiently and professionally. Wholesale CRM from Cam extends the functionality of Cameo by introducing a greater capacity for storing information and notes relating to customers individual requirements, capturing their specific terms and conditions, targeting special offers to appropriate dealers and automatically creating a sales transaction link between the two platforms.
In addition, Wholesale CRM is linked through the telephone system so that it detects and highlights customer phone numbers and will automatically pull up their purchase history while the call is taking place.
Owen Phillips, operations manager at Cambrian Tyres, says: “Our long-term IT investment with Cam Systems will enable us to expand our database, record in-depth customer information, manage individual customers’ requirements more effectively and have instant access to their file information while we are talking to them. This will enable our already highly experienced sales team to achieve even greater efficiency and customer support.”
