Bosch Car Service holds first Irish garage conference
The Bosch Car Service network has held its first conference in Ireland. The network says the event is designed to help independent garages get the most from the scheme’s many benefits, with a day of workshops, training sessions and talks for garages signed up to the Bosch Car Service network.
Covering everything from training through to marketing, the Bosch team took the independent garage owners through important current issues and upcoming challenges, like the maintenance of Hybrid vehicles. Garages were also introduced to the dedicated Ireland support team from Bosch.
Howard Price, Bosch Car Service workshop network manager, said: “Bosch Car Service has become one of the world’s most recognised car servicing brands, and in the UK the scheme is proving popular among garages and customers alike. We’re keen for the independent garages of Ireland to reap all the benefits that the network offers.”
A recent survey on consumer website Whatcar.com posed the question: “Which scheme would help you trust an independent garage?” Over 20 per cent of those who answered voted Bosch Car Service the leading scheme. In addition to online marketing support, signage and a customer care programme, garages have access to Bosch training schemes and technical expertise. The Bosch Car Service website also offers a postcode search facility, helping visitors locate a network garage.
