TyreQuote.com goes online
A new tyre website claims to marry up the dual intentions of supporting local independent garages with ensuring consumers get the best deal possible, In essence TyreQuote.com aims to fill a perceived gap in the market that is currently dominated by dealerships that can afford to run nationalised advertising campaigns, local garages are increasingly finding themselves under threat.
TyreQuote.com was founded by East Midlands-based John Fox with an emphasis on local garage support: “We offer garages an extremely affordable method of advertising on a pay-as-you-go basis, no monthly fees, and no contracts. This means we not only offer promotional support to local garages who might not otherwise be able to compete with the aggressive marketing of national chains, but we also help consumers save money.”
In addition TyreQuote.com aims to offer consumers “up to 30 per cent” off new tyres. User experience is said to be central to both the web design and process in finding quotes. Consumers tell the site the tyre sizes they need and the brand of tyres they want along with their location. Garages in that region then use their own online control panel to return their best quotes in matter of minutes by email and free text message. Through TyreQuote.com’s online customer review system, garages are rated so that consumers know prior to booking the garage’s reputation and service history.
In a strong network of participating garages enjoying the benefits, Clayton Inman of Extra Grip Tyres, Nottingham purportedly understands the impact TyreQuote.com could have on their own future: “Here at Extra Grip Tyres we’re looking forward to TyreQuote.com’s continuing growth as we shall be along-side them growing also. TyreQuote.com is a great way for tyre garages to increase sales and retain the new customers as many of them will return due to the added personal customer care our independent garage can offer.”
TyreQuote.com is a trading name of Tyre Quote LTD.
