New Tatneft range, sizes for 2012

Russian tyre maker Tatneft has announced the introduction of a new tyre range and new sizes in several of its product lines. All new for 2012 is a 4×4 range from its Viatti brand. The Viatti Bosco A/T will debut in a size 205/70R15 fitment. Tatneft says this new range has been specially designed for the growing crossover utility vehicle segment and is said to combine comfort with a quiet, stable and efficient ride. It is also able to withstand heavy loads, the manufacturer states.

Further new additions include two new fitments in the Kama Euro 519 studded winter range, a product adapted for the harsh conditions of the Russian climate and Russian roads. The new sizes are 175/70 R14 and 185/60 R14. In the truck tyre segment, a size 215/75 R17.5 tyre has been introduced to the Kama NF 202 light truck and small bus line, while the NT 202 range has been boosted by size 235/75 R17.5 and 265/70 R19 fitments. During 2012 a reinforced, CRF index version of the well-known 9.00 R20 O-40BM will enter the market. The upgraded tyre has an increased load capacity and speed rating.
