New local accounts manager at National Fleet
National Fleet has appointed James Barrington as local account telesales manager. Barrington took on the role late last year which involves him developing relationships with a number of key accounts, promoting products and services to ensure that customer needs are met and the highest level of customer service is achieved.
According to the company, the move was an internal appointment, with Barrington having previously filled the role of retail support senior administrator. As a result he is familiar with the company mind-set and has reportedly been able to hit the ground running in his new position.
On joining the local accounts team, Barrington commented: “I enjoy marketing National products to an expanding customer base and delivering great customer service which is what makes National stand out from the rest. I look forward to continuing to help National grow as a successful business.”
Kevin Parker, managing director, National Fleet, added: “James is a bright and dynamic addition to our team; he works closely with a number of accounts ensuring that they get the most out of their relationship with National.”
In his spare time, Barrington is completing a degree in Business Studies with the Open University and is also a keen athlete. He is a member of the Macclesfield Masters Swim Team, taking part in competitions like the Cheshire County Championships and trains with the Wilmslow Scarabs Triathlon Club.
