New Group Product and Procurement Director for Klarius

The Klarius Group has named Glynn Cureton as Group Product and Procurement Director. He joins Klarius from a senior position at Unipart. Cureton has responsibility for the full product portfolio management including over 100,000 lines of OE quality replacement Klarius and QH branded parts.

Comments Cureton: “In my opinion there is space for Klarius and QH branded products to grow in volume through the buying groups as market consolidation has increased and businesses are getting smarter about logistics; a manufacturer/supplier that already has this focus clearly defined has the potential and capability to grow, especially when the product mix is right.

“The aftermarket, repair and service world has changed significantly in recent years; no longer does a local garage need to carry expensive bulky stock in anticipation of work coming in. The distribution networks have reached a level of response where deliveries can happen same day for virtually any vehicle, meaning repairs are made more quickly, drivers are losing less time with their cars being in for service or repair and the garages are working faster and more efficiently.”
