Heuver to market Aeolus passenger car tyres in Europe
In 2012 Aeolus Tyres will enter the European passenger car tyre market in partnership with Netherlands-based Heuver Tyrewholesale. Although Aeolus will be entering the passenger car market for the first time, the company reports that it was certainly not an overnight decision to do so. A whole new factory has been built in China and an international team of experienced tyre specialists is being used to develop the tyres. In addition Heuver reports that it is providing “frequent technical input,” to enable it to fulfil the requirements of the European market as well as possible.
“This is the right time to enter the passenger car tyre market”, declares managing director Bertus Heuver. “The tyre market has become a demand market in which customers are mainly looking for a tyre which offers first-rate performance and long mileage at a relatively low price. That exactly sums up the description of Aeolus tyres: they are the alternative.”
“The first prototype tyres which we have received are very promising”, Bertus Heuver added enthusiastically. “At the moment we are putting them through an intensive testing programme. We shall carry out a phased introduction of the range of models into the market, but the public can get a first look at Aeolus’s passenger car tyres during the coming “Reifen Essen” trade fair.
Heuver reports that it is starting a major offensive in the Benelux countries, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and Romania this year – countries where Heuver has been supplying Aeolus’s truck and earthmoving tyres for many years.
“Many of our current partners in these countries are keen to join us in this development. We are on the threshold of a challenging project in which we will pull out all the stops to make it a great success. With our experience, the Aeolus passenger car tyre range and our partners’ involvement, we will certainly achieve this,” Bertus Heuver concluded.
