Former Hankook UK MD Richard Page retires
Former UK managing director, Richard Page, has officially retired. Page joined Hankook back in 2001 bringing with him the experience of having worked in the tyre industry for over 35 years. The UK Hankook team welcomed the New Year together, taking the opportunity to celebrate Richard’s achievements and thank him for his valued contribution over the years.
Richard Page first announced his retirement as MD back in December 2010 when Hankook welcomed current managing director, Tony Lee. Lee is no stranger to Hankook having worked for the company for over 20 years.
“We wish to thank Richard for his valued contribution over the years as the Hankook brand has grown considerably both globally and specifically within the UK market. Richard’s industry experience and expertise has helped to significantly raise brand awareness in the UK and firmly cement Hankook as a premium tyre manufacturer. We hope he has long and happy retirement.” said Tony Lee, Managing Director at Hankook Tyre UK Ltd.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Hankook and am proud to have worked alongside such a successful and ambitious team. It gives me great pleasure to have witnessed the brand grow so significantly within the UK in such a short space of time, a real testament to the brand and its product portfolio. I have every confidence that the brand shall continue to expand its presence in the UK market and wish the Hankook team every success in doing so,” added Richard Page.
