Brityrex confirms free technical seminar topics
ECI International, the organiser of Brityrex, has confirmed that a series of technical seminars and demonstrations by industry experts will take place for visitors to Brityrex International 2012 in Manchester this October, providing a practical, hands-on environment. Organised by the National Tyre Distributors Association in conjunction with the Tyre Industry Federation, seminar topics will include: tyre pressure monitoring systems, tyre labelling legislation, the new tyre repair standard, BSAU159G, returning tyres under complaint and other highly topical issues at the three-day exhibition on 9-11 October, 2012.
Paul Farrant, managing director of ECI International, says: “Not only will Brityrex offer the latest and best in tyres and equipment, it will also provide great value in terms of knowledge and expertise. The seminar programme announced today provides another compelling reason for retailers to visit the show and spend time meeting suppliers and industry experts. More exciting ideas are in the pipeline and will be announced in the coming weeks and months.”
Brityrex will also host a meeting of the influential Automotive Aftermarket Liaison Group, which brings together major organisations from the independent aftermarket. Regarded as a powerful lobbying body, members include some of the industry’s biggest names, such as the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, Garage Equipment Association, Retail Motor Industry, Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation, GROUPAUTO, British Battery Industry Federation, Federation of Engine Re-Manufacturers and the NTDA.
NTDA Chairman Stephen Callow commented: “These latest developments confirm that Brityrex is shaping up to be an excellent event that will be of real interest and benefit to the trade. From a personal point of view, and as someone who comes from Merseyside, I look forward to welcoming the show and its delegates to the North West in October.”
ECI’s visitor pre-registration service is now open for the show, guaranteeing hassle-free, fast-track entry to EventCity. The service is available online at www.eci-international.com.
