Bandvulc Key Dealer Conference discusses plans for 2012
The Bandvulc Group recently held its annual BTC Key Service Partner Conference at its head office in Ivybridge, Devon, some four years since it was last been used as the venue. According to the company, the event was very well attended with the key partners travelling from all areas of the UK to attend the two day programme.
Opening the conference, Philip West, commercial director for the group, recapped on all of the plans laid out at the previous year’s event together with activities and performance for 2011. He commented: “It was important we established that all previous notes and actions were concluded. On reflection we had addressed all key areas of development that we had committed to; this year will be no different. The conference gives us a the platform to show off what we do, how we do it and importantly how we integrate with the network into 2012; continuing to deliver the highest levels of service in all areas”.
By adopting a workshop style forum it provided the opportunity to see individually the key plans for 2012 and to provide an environment where feedback and discussions were welcomed.
Philip added: “It proved very successful. By providing an opportunity for feedback we can listen and adapt our services where needed”.
The workshops consisted of a factory tour giving the visitors an insight into every stage of the retread manufacturing process; an extensive review of service requirements and expectations for 2012 within Bandvulc Tyre Contracts, an introduction to the new products in the Bandvulc and Fulda ranges for 2012
Company representatives report that the day formed “a key part of Bandvulc’s network plans for 2012” and discussed progress in essential parts of the tyre management chain where improvement would be visible.
The event was followed by evening entertainment in Plymouth, which the guests welcomed. Post event feedback is reportedly very positive and has been followed up with further plans and objectives being circulated by Bandvulc to all attendees.
