Australian Renault Clio RS shod with Bridgestone asymmetric tyre
In a first for Renault Sport in Australia, Bridgestone tyres will be fitted to the gloss black 18” Interlagos wheels of the company’s new Clio RS Angel & Demon. The RE050A UHP tyre has an asymmetrical tread that provides dynamic sporty handling and a quiet, comfortable ride according to the company.
The design of the two sides of the tread is derived from Bridgestone’s Formula One technology and increases grip and responsiveness in both dry and wet conditions, according to the company. The tyres were used by Renault in Europe on the Renault Mégane RS Trophy, contributing to the record set by Renault Sport on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The new edition 203hp car is also fitted with blood-red Brembo brake callipers, and can be decorated by one of 666 optional “Angel & Demon” tattoos grafted onto the left hand side of the rear quarter window pillar. The limited edition is available in 15 markets worldwide.
