ATS Euromaster launches £320,000 Brighton service centre
ATS Euromaster will launch its new high-tech service centre in Brighton on 24-25 February. Previously a car showroom, the UK’s second-largest tyre retailer has spent around £320,000 renovating the site over the past six months. During the launch weekend, visitors to the Church Road centre will offer a range of exclusive discounts and promotions, including four Michelin tyres at a 50 per cent discount for the first five purchasers, the chance to try a state of the art Formula One simulator, and to see the Lotus Evora – a 162mph British GT racing car, which will be parked on the forecourt.
Colin Butterfill, centre manager, says: “We’ve only moved down the road, but our new facilities mean we can offer a wider variety of services than ever before, including MOTs, nitrogen tyre inflation, computerised wheel alignment and air-conditioning recharging.
“Many of these services will be offered at a reduced price during the launch weekend, including free nitrogen inflation with every tyre purchase, half price air-con recharging and class 4 MOTs for just £25.”
Together with Butterfill, the new team includes assistant manager Kerry McAnespie and technicians Andy Hughes, Kevin Rodgers and Gary Bowles. They will be joined at the launch by leading tyre industry icon, Bibendum (aka the Michelin Man).
The Brighton West centre features a 450m² workshop and can accommodate all sizes of car, 4×4 and van, with more than 1,000 tyres and automotive parts stored on-site, backed-up by daily deliveries. It has four fitting bays in addition to a dedicated MOT bay.
